President Yomi Osibajo's response to ENDSARS

VP Yemi Osinbajo says he is concerned and irate that youngsters and ladies who are captured, are at times, harmed or killed by men of the Nigeria Police Force.

Osinbajo's representative, Laolu Akande, in an announcement, said the Vice President communicated this view on Sunday in Abuja.



The Inspector-General of Police (IG-P), Mohammed Adamu, had on Sunday restricted the Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (FSARS), the Special Tactical Squad (STS) and Intelligence Response Team (IRT) from undertaking routine watches just as stop and search obligations.

The Vice President, who had prior, held a gathering with the I-G at his habitation, said the President and himself had talked about the issue on various events.
