Manchester United midfielder, Bruno Fernandes, has made the three-man shortlist for the Europa League Player of the Season award.
The other two are: Sevilla’s Ever Banega and Inter Milan striker, Romelu Lukaku.
Fernandes finished the competition as its highest goalscorer, netting eight times in 10 appearances for both United and Sporting Lisbon.
Banega played a pivotal part in leading Sevilla to the final and eventually winning the trophy.
Lukaku scored seven times in the competition, as Inter ultimately lost in the final.
The three players were selected by a jury, composed of the coaches of the 48 clubs in last season’s group stage and 55 journalists selected by the European Sports Media (ESM) group, one from each UEFA member association.
