£50million+ star offered to Manchester United

Yesterday, 90min provided an exclusive update and stated that the Red Devils may have moved into pole position to hire the Senegalese international because the Hornets have offered their prized asset to them.

The outlet have mentioned that Liverpool were interested in the winger as well.

However, the Reds have signed Portuguese star Diogo Jota and the Red Devils are mulling over making an offer for Sarr.

As per The Athletic, the African star was the Premier League champions’ chief attacking target but they backed off when Watford demanded a deal in excess of £50million and an initial payment of £40million.

The 22-capped Senegalese is naturally a right winger and we have been trying to reinforce that position for a long time. Sancho has been our prime target but it seems that the club has mainly wasted time in chasing his signature.

Yesterday, in the opening Premier League fixture vs Palace, the likes of Martial, Rashford, James, Greenwood and Ighalo failed to register even a single shot on target and we ended up losing the contest 3-1.

Our goalscorer and perhaps the only decent performer on the day was none other than new signing Donny Van de Beek, who started the game on the bench.

Ismaila Sarr had an impressive campaign with Watford last term, he started 22 league games, scored 5 goals and also provided 6 assists. With time running out in the transfer window, we desperately need to sign an offensive player. In your view, should Manchester United spend over £50million to bring the 22-year-old from Vicarage Road to Old Trafford.
