Liverpool and Chelsea produced world class football at Anfield on Wednesday, July 22, with the Reds winning 5-3 in what was a tough Premier League encounter.
Chelsea went into this game with the hope of avoiding a defeat so as to help their quest of qualifying for the Champions League at the end of the season. But they faced a more determined Liverpool side who wanted to give their fans a win for them to celebrate the Premier League title which has been given to them.
Naby Keita scored the first goal for Liverpool in the 23rd minute before defender Trent Alexander-Arnold increased the scoreline in the 38th minute. Mohamed Salah provided the assist for Wijnaldum to score the third goal for Liverpool in the 43rd minute before Olivier Giroud pulled one back in the 45th minute. Arnold provided another superb cross in the 55th minute for Firmino to score the fourth goal for Liverpool, but Chelsea responded with two goals from Tammy Abraham and Pulisic.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Frank Lampard stated emphatically that there won't be any problem should Chelsea fail to qualify for next season's prestigious Champions League.
Champions League is arguably the most watched competition in Europe and many other parts of the world considering the excitement in the championship.
