Nigerian Actress Emilia Dike says that she is not dead, she had revealed this through her post on her facebook profile @ Emilia Dyke and instagram page @emiliadike, as people her mistaking her with the other because they both have the same Name or Namesake and they both are actress.
She Stated;
"Nigerians are fond of concluding on a news with its headline without clicking on the link to read what it’s all about.
For the past two days, people have been calling to check up on me saying the saw a news on the internet with a headline “Nollywoood actress Emilia Dike slumps and dies in Enugu.”
First of all, I am not from Enugu and I do not live nor work in Enugu. - I am from Imo state and I live and work in lagos as an Actress.
My sincere condolence to the family of the bereaved. The Elderly Actress Mrs Emilia Dike was a soft spoken woman and a role model to many- May God Rest her soul. Amen.
Please I would crave the indulgence of my friends and fans to vividly read any news they come across before circulating it so you don’t end up giving unnecessary heart attack to the family of the victim involved. (Especially my mum).
