WAEC And NECO Postponed Examination Indefinite Over Covid-19 Pandemic


 The federal Government of Nigeria has postponed the Senior School Certificate Examination {SSCE}, which is organised by the National Examination Council {NECO} and the West African Examination Council {WAEC} for the year because of the coronavirus outbreak and pandemic.

 This was announced by the Minister for state for education during a press on channel TV. 

      He also stated that;

 "WAEC and NECO Examination for the year have been postponed indefinitely. He went forward stating that, "The Student can learn online, we have made a lot of provision for that". Also, the director of the Federal Capital Territory {FCT} has also opened a portal for the process, stating that, "We are working in hand with the minister  of information to develop educational content to provide for the student and everyone at home. 

 He went further Stating, 
  
  "Our biggest Challenge is to reach children who do not have devices but we are working with the radio corporations to inculcate some of that for primary and secondary student".
